The lesson plan for each class is left to the discretion of the teacher, and will probably not be the same as what you see here. I will try earnestly to stick with the lesson plan you see here, mainly because I want each student to get "at least" this much theory and practice.
This lesson plan for teaching a Group Piano Class is based on
“Alfred’s Basic Adult Piano Course”,
Lesson Book Level One, Book #2256.
This Alfred’s text is excellent for teaching group classes. Because there is too much material in the text for an 8 week class, the 96 page text has been divided into four lesson plans of eight lessons each. This “Piano Beginner” lesson plan uses the first section, pages 1 through 29.
